Away Win on Grass
Malmesbury Bowls and Social Club
On a beautiful day for a game of bowls, Malmesbury travelled to Victory Park, Cainscross, Stroud to play on grass. The away green was pleasantly surprisingly fast compared to other grass greens for this time of year, and Malmesbury enjoyed the experience, so much so, they won.
Victory Park were great hosts and an enjoyable afternoon was had by all. The final score was Victory Park 50 Malmesbury 71, though the scores are not important in a friendly, as long as everyone enjoyed their afternoon is the most important issue.
Please support the friendlies as they are useful for practicing on grass, helping new bowlers learn the game, and supporting other clubs.

There are limited car parking spaces at the club. If possible, please park in Cross Hayes. It is a short walk from Cross Hayes, down Silver Street, to the club house.
