The weather gods smiled and allowed the sun to shine.

England beat Czechia by 1-0 and Scotland lost 3-1 to Croatia.

But the most important match of the night was the Malmesbury A v B teams clash! Who came out top? We waited with bated breath!

So the 'scores on the doors' were

  • Roy 21-15 John
  • Tim 17-13 Arthur
  • Ruby 11-27 Albert

And the total shots were 49 - 55 to the B team. or 4 - 6 in points if this was an actual league game.

Well done to the B team for their spirited competitiveness and their good humour. Pete Curnock and Steve Caygill put in good performances. Their practice hours on the green are showing fruition.

Also, we must say thank you to Shirley and Steve for providing the cheese rolls. And Brian and John for operating the bar

And finally, the club has raised £110.84 for the Guide Dogs for the Blind, which was collected on the night.
