The tender process has now started for the renewal of the Barletts Field play equipment.

Tenderers have until 17th September to submit their proposals and a public consultation on the final 4 will be held on 1st and 2nd October.

We hope the new playground will be ready by the beginning of January 2019.

Details of the Invitation to Tender can be found on the Governement webstie:
https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/ba81db3d-769a-4c75-a444-38b571c6f085

This is the first playground to be replaced as part of a programme of renewals, with Mount Pleasant being considered next. The project will not just look at the renewal of the playground, but also opportunities presented by the building and/or its redevelopment.

After the Summer, we will also be looking to replace benches in a number of key locations.
