Each year, we get in touch with every household in Bassetlaw to ensure that the electoral register is up-to-date.
Residents may receive a text, email or letter from us. If they are contacted, they should check that the details on the register for their household are correct and provide updated information if necessary.
If our Electoral Services Team have an email address residents should have received an email from elections@bassetlaw.gov.uk around 27th July 2026, this is a genuine email and responding means that we will not need to send a letter in the post. If we don’t hold an email address, we will have sent a letter to the property around the same date.
