Bat and Trap 2025

The annual Bat and Trap match was played on Sat.14th. a warm summers day. Teams made up of players with varied abilities, which caused amusement, frustration and dispair, but most enjoying the experience either for the first time or regular players.

Ron Piper, again showed his experience, having played for many years, by not only being on the winning team but also scoring most runs, more than the rest of us put together, and also being joint wicket taker. The barman was kept busy, and the kitchen workers did a good job, cooking bacon sandwiches, sausages and burgers. A good time was had by all, We look forward to the event next year.
