Battle Town Council has announced that its annual Battle in Bloom festival will be held virtually this year with a new format.

Residents can share their fantastic photos of their gardens, window boxes, flowers, allotments or a favourite green space and these will be published on the Council’s virtual gallery and shared across the Council’s social media. Entries are welcomed from all age groups, maybe the children or grand children would like to take some snaps of their favourite blooms or veggie patch?

The festival will take place from August until the end of October and is open to everyone living in Battle and Netherfield.

If you’d like to take part then please email your photo to enquiries@battletowncouncil.gov.uk and we will share them with the town via social media.

The festival is open to everyone living or working locally, free to enter, and will be a great way to promote Battle’s green-side.
