The Queen of Katwe (2016) ​is July's film showing at Battle Memorial Hall. PG rated. Living in the slums of Katwe, Uganda, is a constant struggle for 10 year old Phiona. her world changes after being introduced to the game of chess, and with success she dreams of escaping poverty.

Doors open 7.00pm, film starts 7.30 p.m.

Licensed bar & popcorn. Tickets 50p, with a suggested donation of £3 for adults and £2 for children​ available from battle memorial Hall, The Craft Norman or online: www.battlememorialhall.ticketsource.co.uk
