Throughout December Bird Wise East Kent are continuing to deliver our programme of Pit Stops where local coastal users can learn more about the amazing wintering birds that visit our coast and sign up to be a Savvy Sea Dog to ensure that our furry friends are not disturbing our feathered friends. We are also putting on a free one to one dog service at Botany Bay on the 17th December, where Animal Behaviouralist Mark Beeching will be giving expert advice and training for dogs and their owners. There is also a walk and talk at the same time in Botany, where we have teamed up with local geologist Richard Hubbard to tell you about smugglers, fossils, and of course the birds. We have another nature walk at Long Rock on the 6th.

In the first week of the Christmas holidays we are going out to the coast at Long Rock, Margate, Reculver, and Pegwell Bay to run some children's activities and games, and also some family walks. On the 21st we are heading inland to The Beaney in Canterbury to do some fun activities and games too.
