This is the news about the Blaydon Shed Swap Station!
A brand new venture set up by and at The Blaydon Shed on Shibdon Rd, Blaydon On Tyne, Tyne & Wear.
Basically, we get given an awful lot of useful stuff via donations, shop clearouts etc and we feel these things could be shared amongst those who could use them, recycle them or renovate them.
Our goods range from furniture to household & office supplies and this page will have info and pics of the stuff we have available for you to swap or collect.
We do have some handmade goods too, all made by folk at the Shed – for these we ask a small donation please – after all, we should appreciate their hard work too shouldn’t we?
We can also take donations and items in, so please message us first or call us to discuss dropping things off with us – please don’t just turn up as we may not be able to accommodate you and you’ll have had a wasted trip!
We are happy to have people from all over the UK come and collect stuff from us…obviously you must cover your own expenses and travel costs, but the goods (except handmade goods) will be free for you to take home.
Please message us in advance before coming to visit us and we will do our best to accommodate you at the time and we can reserve stuff for you.
