On Tuesday, we hosted Woburn Sands for a Bletchley & District Men's League match. The weather was dull and damp but the game was tense and very close. In this league, 2 points are awarded for each rink won, one for a drawn rink and 8 points awarded for the overall victory. Both teams won 2 rinks and one rink was drawn, which meant that both teams earned 5 points.The 8 points that are awarded to the team with the highest total score went to the visitors who won by 79 shots to 75.

We don't have a fixture next week and our next game in the Men's League is away at Wolverton Town on 23rd July.

Before that we have two fixtures in the Mixed League, playing Scots at home on 11th July and Wolverton Park away on 15th July.
