BM ELECTION RESULT EXPECTED EARLY MORNING

The result of the General Election in the constituency which includes Bishop Monkton is not expected until the early hours of Friday morning. The Press Association is predicting a declaration in the Wetherby and Easingwold seat around 5.45 a.m. on Friday. Polls close at 10pm tonight. The polling station for the village is in the Methodust Schoolroom. People going to vote need photo ID like a driving licence, bus pass or driving licence.
