Carries on, in the form of Indoor Bowling, where many of Collingwood’s members can be seen both in the afternoon and evening matches.

The chat is always friendly and members can be seen enjoying the company of each other, along with members of other clubs over the region in the various indoor leagues.

However, make no mistake, the underlying competitive edge is always lurking around with everyone ‘In It to Win It’

Whilst the bowling is quicker and some say sharper – all agree it is a darn sight warmer – it does allow our club members the opportunity to keep honing their bowling skills which will be much needed as promotion shall see us compete in the first division of the Clegg league when the grass season starts in the spring.

It goes without saying that activity in the background never ceases with Club Secretary Fabian. When not heading up teams indoors he continues to look at opportunities to further Collingwood’s profile within lawn bowling, this along with his many other tasks on behalf of the club, makes Collingwood the club to be with.
