BOWLS BASH

You will probably be aware that Bowls England are pushing the concept of BOWLS BASH which is a fast-moving variation of bowls and good fun to play. The rules of the game and notes on the philosophy behind the idea are displayed in the club house.

In its basic format two teams of two of players play each other. Each game is a maximum of 10 ends [plus a tie break if needed] so it will not take up much actual time. If you fancy having a go I am prepared to offer prizes for the top team and the runners up of a small inter-club league open to ALL members - full and social.

The games are to be played when you can fit them in as long you complete the league by the end of the season. As this is a pilot scheme there is no charge to enter.

If you fancy the idea please put your two players names down and I will try to work something out before the 1st August and outline the list of games. The object of the exercise is a bit of fun, with formalities kept to a minimum.
