    Boughton-Under-Blean started the week with a friendly match away to Aylesham. Aylesham won the day.

    Tuesday saw a Forrest of Blean match at home against Birchington.

    Boughton 93. Birchington 99

    Winning rinks: Colin Marsh, Neil Webber and Peter Shead won 21-19

    Ron Piper, Trevor Lyons and Phil Philpot won 24-10

    Drawing rink: Brian May, Brian Gentry and Bob Holliday drew 15-15

    Thursday saw Boughton hosting a Catherine Wheeler match against Whitstable.

    Boughton 97, Whitstable 107

    Winning rinks: Liz Chapman, Jeff Eason and Karl Davies won 18-16

    Barbara Hadler, Mick Cousins and Colin Hadler won 17-12

    Eileen Davies, Neil Webber and Charles Marsh won 23-14

    Mick Wellington, Ann Cousins and Phil Philpot won 19-17

    Boughton finished the week with a club ‘Yardstick’, the final of which will be played between Brian May and Charles Marsh on the club’s finals weekend in September. Let's hope for good weather.
