Bridge strengthening works, M25 junction 3 (M20 junction 1) Swanley Interchange, Kent
Connect Plus Services works on behalf of National Highways and Connect Plus to manage, operate and maintain the M25 and its linking roads, as well as the Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing.
We’re writing to inform you about essential repairs to the east and west bridges at the M25 junction 3 Swanley Interchange. Work is needed to strengthen these structures so they can withstand predicted future traffic loads and keep journeys safe and reliable.
The work to strengthen each bridge will take approximately four months to complete and will be undertaken over two main stages to minimise disruption:
• Work to strengthen the east bridge is scheduled between July and November 2023

• Work to strengthen the west bridge is planned for summer 2024
