Malmesbury received a warm welcome on Saturday 13th May from Bristol Greenbank. Our hosts had made a special delivery of warm weather and as the game progressed the green became faster. The Malmesbury rinks started off slowly due to the huge contrast between the home carpet and our opponent's grass green. Maria Sibley enjoyed her first away game and her first game on grass, so new bowlers come along for the away matches. Malmesbury improved through out the afternoon and won by one shot in the end.

Bristol Greenbank are crowd funding to buy a new watering system. If anyone would like to contribute, please follow this link https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/replacement-watering-system-for-bristol-greenbank-bowls-club
