Bull Field Camp
Washington History Society
Take a look at a new article on this website about a World War One Training and Rest Camp that was located on Bull Field just over the crossing at Usworth Station. No trace of it exists today yet thousands of soldiers passed through in from its probable creation in 1916 until 1918. The History Society would be very interested in hearing about any stories told about the camp or any family photographs that have survived
