Business grants are still available for businesses required to close due to the pandemic. To find out if your business is eligible please visit: www.rother.gov.uk/business/information-for-businesses

This is an on-line application process. The current grants are:

1) Tier 4 restrictions and national lockdown 3 for businesses mandated to close by the Government from 19 December 2020 to 15 February 2021

2) Discretionary Tier 4 and National Lockdown Additional Restriction Grant from 19 December 2020 to 15 February 2021. This is aimed specific business sectors not mandated to close but significantly affected by the restrictions on trade. This is also due for review shortly and hopefully will be expanded in terms of the businesses supported

3) Christmas Support Payment – this is for “wet” pubs that weren’t able to trade over the Christmas break.

For grants relating to the 2nd National Lockdown (5 November to 2 December 2020), the on-line application process has come to an end but businesses can still contact Rother District Council by email if they have missed out on this grant.

Business owners and the self employed are also advised to visit www.gov.uk/business-coronavirus-support-finder to find out what other support they may be eligible for.

Rother District Council are still waiting to hear whether the Government will extend the support beyond the 15 February, this will be updated on the website once they have confirmation.
