Faversham Town Council is working with Canterbury City Council and Swale Borough Council in joint opposition to the closure of the Faversham Household Waste Recycling Centre in Salters Lane. They are investigating what the legal options are for fighting these terrible proposals.

Faversham Town Council is organising two demonstrations at County Hall, the details of which are as follows:

  • Thursday 13th July - meet at 8am outside County Hall at the side entrance (what3words ship/store/admiral). This is to see Members arriving for the full council meeting at 10am.

  • Thursday 21st September - meet outside County Hall as above. Faversham Town Council has secured a coach for this day, please contact Faversham Town Council on 01795 503286 if you would like to reserve a seat.
