Change of date for the Cheshire Street Road Closure

Message from Cllr Rachel Bailey regarding a change of date for the Cheshire Street Road Closure:

The date of the proposed road closure on Cheshire Street has changed to October.

The work duration from October 24th- 31st supersedes the dates that were originally proposed in September. The October permit covers the management of school transport times, leaving no issues with access to and from the school during the busier open and closing times. Cllr Bailey has noted that the school autumn half term is rostered for this week, but hopefully ‘school working hours’ will be honoured and allow access.

There is a S171 planned road closure on Cheshire Street on the 21st of September to reinstall the lantern outside the church. This also will not affect the route for school transportation.
