Chilly morning but smiles all round

Only the Reds & Purples we’re playing today as the Orange & Black’s Match was cancelled by the opponents.

Our newest team, the Purples are improving with every game. Two great terrific matches today, everyone gave 110%. Oscar scored his first goal for the Phoenix; taking the ball into the box and tackling the goal keeper. Some great dribbling too. Ben covered every blade of grass on the pitch. Made great tackles. Great runs too!

But overall everyone played really well was a hard decision for SOM

There were some great displays from the Reds. Alfie hit a blinding shot, but unfortunately it came back off the post. The first game was a great display, the second was tougher, proving a great test of our defensive training.

Well done to everyone and as ever, thanks to the parents and referees for your support.

We don’t yet have the fixture for the next few weeks but we’ll post them as soon as we know.
