Clarification of Club Rules

DRESS CODE: ONLY FLAT SOLED BOWLS SHOES MUST BE WORN ON ANY RINK.

ROLL-UPS: – Smart casual

CLUB LEAGUES & CLUB COMPETITIONS:- Club or white shirt with grey or black trousers/ shorts/ skirt

CLUB FINALS:- Club shirt, white trousers/ shorts/ skirt

REPRESENTING CLUB:- Club shirt, grey trousers/ shorts/ skirt.
Please note this may change to white depending on opposition.
The wearing of old style Club shirts is still permitted while representing the Club
until the end of the 2023/2024 Indoor season.

RINK FEES: 1 hour - £2.00

Timed 2 hour game - £3.50

18 Ends - £4.00

Longer games indoors - £4.50

Games which include sandwiches afterwards - £6.50

Individual games with meals - costs as advertised for the day

GUESTS:- Guests are allowed to attend any social function ONCE without being a member of the Club. After this in order to attend social functions held at the club, they will be requested to pay social membership.

MEMBERSHIP RULES REGARDING PLAY: Any member who only plays either outdoors or indoors is automatically a social member for the opposite season. However, if they wish to play in the opposite season they are allowed to play THREE times at a cost of £5.00. If they play more than the three times, they will be requested to pay FULL membership for that season. i.e a member who plays only in the outside season is automatically a social member for the winter months. They can also play up to 3 times during the winter at a cost of £5 per session. If they play more often than this, they will be expected to pay for an Indoor season membership.

START TIMES:- Players should arrive at least 20 minutes before a game begins and should be ready to bowl at the correct start time. This is particularly important when discs are being distributed prior to a session. Members who arrive for these sessions after the discs have been drawn or after play has started cannot be guaranteed a game.
