Club Championships Day 3 - Mixed Triples

7 teams, generated by random numbers saw teams of three ladies, three men and mixed teams battle it out for a place in the final. The first round - the round of 6 - saw Heather, Pauline C & Wendy, triumph 13-10 (after being 3-8 down after 5 ends) against Tristan, Rosie and Rob. The other matches resulted in 18-9 victories for Pauline V, Joyce & Paul and 13-9 for Karen, Peter & Tom, who were 5 down after 7 ends.

After a lunch break the semis took place featuring two extremely close matches. Roger, Chris & Derek had a very keenly contested match against the team of Heather, Pauline C & Wendy with the final end to play it was 10 all. The three ladies moved to the final by the narrowest of margins - 11-10 where they will meet Pauline, Joyce & Paul who won by a similar margin against Karen, Peter & Tom.
