The residents association just met with the office to discuss ways to get more use out of the club.
It was agreed -
From next week (Monday 17th July) the club hall will be open 9am to 4pm (Monday to Friday) as a pop-in centre. Residents will be able to use the hall to get together, have a natter and a cuppa, play board games, puzzles etc.
Also, If people are interested, once a month we'll have a free movie afternoon on the big screen (let us know if you're interested).
The old family room that's currently unused is being transferred into a book exchange so avid readers can grab a new book or donate their old ones. We just need to order bookcases and we'll let you know when that launches.
If these things turn out to be popular we can expand on daytime activities in the hall.
