Collingham residents in need of a taxi have, for many years, had to rely on the taxi firms based in Newark, which can be very costly. There is now a local taxi firm in operation in the village of Collingham. Penny has spotted the need for a more local taxi business and is hoping that the service she provides will fill the gap.

Patients registered at the Collingham Medical Centre (if over 16) will continue to be able to use Collingham Village Care for medical and other appointments, but if no volunteer driver can be found (especially at short notice) it is hoped that Penny might be able to provide assistance. This will also work the other way around and if Penny thinks some of her bookings might be part of the service which Village Care would normally provide, she will pass the passengers details on.

It is hoped that this new business alongside Village Care will be able to continue to transport people for many years to come.
