Kings Hill Parish Councillor Steve Beal and Kent County Councillor Matthew Balfour unveiled the community’s new defibrillator this week.  Cllr Balfour kindly funded the installation of two outdoor cabinets in Kings Hill to house the defibrillators already owned by Kings Hill Parish Council from his Kent County Council Members Fund.

The defibrillator (also known as an Automated External Defibrillator or AED) is located in a secure box on the rear external wall of the Kings Hill Sports Park Pavilion.

The AED is available for use 24/7. Outside of the Sports Park operating hours or if a member of the Sports Park Team is not available to assist, then members of the public can ring 999 direct, request ambulance and the code will be given over the phone at the time to open the secure box.

Kings Hill Parish Council are pleased to have this vital lifesaving piece of equipment to serve the community should they need it.
