Save money on heating oil with the Community Resource Oil Buying Club

If you use heating oil, now is a great time to start saving. Prices are often highest between December and February – but by joining the Community Resource Oil Buying Club, you can cut costs and reduce the stress of ordering.

We’re a local charity supporting communities across Shropshire and surrounding areas. By working together, we use joint buying power to get the best price for people who aren’t on mains gas.

How our oil buying club works

· Order opportunity – once a month, you’ll have the chance to order heating oil through the Club

· Ordering through a coordinator – if you have a local coordinator, they’ll be in touch to arrange your order

· No coordinator? No problem – we’ll email you a link so you can place your order online

· Getting the best price – after we receive your order, we negotiate with suppliers to find the best deal available that day

· Confirmation – you (or your coordinator) will receive the price and supplier details

· Payment – you pay the supplier directly once your oil has been delivered

· £27 per year for households

· £36 per year for community buildings

Your membership fee covers the admin costs of running the scheme, helping us keep prices down for everyone.
