Community Speedwatch - Volunteers needed
Temple Ewell Parish Council intends to follow neighbouring Parish Councils in establishing a Community Speedwatch scheme. The scheme which is overseen by Kent Police monitors traffic speed and reports drivers who are travelling at excessive speed, as well as identifying vehicles that have no MOT or Road Tax.
We are therefore seeking volunteers who would be available during daylight hours to undertake this monitoring using supplied electronic devices. Volunteers would be required to undertake some online training which in turn will provide insurance cover while undertaking this activity. It is hoped that we can get this scheme established early next year.
If you are interested, and are over 18 years of age, please contact the Parish Clerk by emailing Templeewellpc@outlook.com or telephoning 01304 361774.
