Community Speedwatch Results
October 2026 update.
We were pleased that we were able to do seven out of our ten sessions, considering the poor weather throughout the week
A reduced session on Wednesday morning still recorded a relatively high number of speeding vehicles.
There is still a very high percentage exceeding 40mph, with those exceeding 50pmph showing very little regard for the speed limit.
1654 vehicle speeds checked; 65 were in excess of the 30 mph speed limit, and 30 of those were travelling at more than 40 mph
