Compostable food waste bags
Dunton Park Residents' Association
We have run out of scompostable food waste bags in the club.
Basildon Council only gives us a few hundred rolls a year. They normally drop them in the clubhouse or office every November. The allocation is barely enough for one roll per household per year but the council say it’s only a goodwill gesture and is not intended to provide everyone with an unlimited supply.
Until we get our next batch, residents who need more can purchase additional rolls independently. As an example, similar bags are currently available from retailers such as Home Bargains for around £1.50 per roll.
