Ashley Nethercliffe has been County Indoor Junior Singles Champion on 4 occasions but the Outdoor title has always eluded him. Today he travelled to Banister Park hoping to lift the 2022 crown and his hopes were realised as he triumphed in this year's final by beating Alfie Smith of Portsmouth Water. Congratulations to Ashley whose win means that Oakley players have in 2022 landed both Junior Singles Titles. Alice Lovett won the women's equivalent earlier in the season. Both players will now represent Hampshire in the National Finals on 1st/2nd of September.

Congratulations go also to our Treasurer Sean who this morning beat Andy Lowe of Hook to reach the Final of the Basingstoke and District Champion of Champions.
