    There are several things to celebrate at the moment and hopefully there will be more things to come.

    First of all, what a great season it's been for both the Jacks and the Greens who have come top of their respective divisions and next year will be promoted, the Jacks to Division 1 and the Greens to Division 2.

    Congratulations also to Anna Redman who will be going to Leamington on Sunday 7 August to play in the Junior National Singles against a competitor from Cambridgeshire. We wish Anna all the best in this prestigious competition and hope she progresses through the rounds.

    Carol Turner won the area final of the County Unbadged Singles last week and will be playing in the County Finals at Banister Park on either 22 or 23 August. All the best, Carol, and we hope you also progress through the rounds.
