CONGRATULATIONS TO BIRCHINGTON LADIES, WHO WERE OVERALL WINNERS OF ‘THE CANTERBURY LADIES TOP TEAM COMPETITION’ ON SUNDAY.
There were Sixteen Teams taking part on the day. Our Team, comprising of Simone, Sue, Christine, Sylvia & Barbara, beat off all the opposition, by winning all six of their Games.
Teams of five ladies, had to play a combination of three Games each, from the following:
1 Lady had to play 2 Singles Games.
4 Ladies had to play 2 Games of Fours.
5 Ladies had a third Game of Pairs or Triples.
No mean feat. Well done Ladies.
