Congratulations to our Snooker Red and Blue Teams

Our Reds team, who are new to Fulwood Club, are now the Preston & District Division 1 champions.

They have also won the 3-man team champions beating the other half of their team in the Final.

They were runners up in the 6-man team handicap , and Craig Millward is now the Preston & District individual champion.

Neville Whalley is the Division 1 Merit winner, and is Nº 1 in the ranking list.

Dean Holding is the Preston & District over 50s champion.

The Blues team first year back in Division 1 came a respectable 5th, and reached the semi-finals of the 6-man team.

They have strengthened their team with players from the St Annes area.

These are Q School standard entrants who are aiming to turn professional.

Jake Robinson, from Preston, is now ranked 14th on the EASB Open series. This is a nationwide ranking.

Jason Tart and Ben Robinson are Q School standard players.

It has to be said that these young and upcoming players wouldn’t be playing for our teams if our tables weren’t up to the standard that they are.

So, congratulations and well done to everyone involved. This is a great start to the season. 👍😀

While Fulwood Club Snooker is providing facilities of a professional level, and is already probably the premier place to play in our district, we still welcome beginners and newcomers to the game.
