CONGRATULATIONS TO RUTH BOWN

Congratulations to Ruth Bown who on Sunday will make her debut in the Bowls Hampshire Walker Cup team. Selected as a reserve for the previous game against Bowls Isle of Wight she comes into the team of just eight as a replacement for Sue Sharpe who has unexpectedly had to go abroad on business. Ruth, therefore, becomes the third Oakley player to have been chosen to play in this prestigous event. We wish her good luck in the morning game at Bounds Green against Middlesex
