Milford Bowling Club went early, given the number of village celebrations and family gatherings, we held our celebration for King Charles on Friday 5th May. We gathered together from 3pm, playing crazy bowls, the cattle grid and the see-saw proving very difficult to manoeuvre and then make it onto the target, not alot of points scored. Lots of tea and cake in the afternoon and we continued through to the evening, enjoying the bar, munching on sausage baps, whilst doing a great 'royal' quiz. We finished off the evening with a raffle with some great prizes, usual wine, spirits and chocolate, not sure the winners of the ear buds will know what to do with them!

As we were ahead of the game we were graced by a visit from 'King Charles and Prince Harry', so nice to see them enjoying a bit of down time.

We are also proud to say one of the Windsor grey horses pulling the royal carriage for the coronation is named Milord Haven, such a great horse.

A big thank you for all who made this happen and came along and supported.
