What can I do to help?

Despite all the many challenges that the current Covid 19 pandemic brings, it is heartening to see that people are rallying to help those who need a little assistance. And there is no sign that this need will abate any time soon.

The current climate has meant that Age UK has had to suspend its very popular Lunch Club and Pop In sessions in Dunton Green which means that many of our older residents will not now have this social interaction or support for the foreseeable future.

If you are already organising visits to vulnerable relatives and neighbours in Dunton Green (collecting prescriptions or getting a little shopping), or would like to help, we are asking you to contact Age UK so that they are aware of what support is on offer in Dunton Green. It would also be fantastic if someone could offer to help coordinate some of the help on offer for Dunton Green, so that those who are most in need of assistance can get it.

Please contact SUE LARKEN - Health & Wellbeing Coordinator for Age UK.

    Email Sue on: suelarken@ageuksevenoaksandtonbridge.org.uk or call her on 01732 454108 / 07867 648667

    Need some assistance?

If you are a resident that needs some assistance, please do not hesitate to ask. Call Sue on the numbers above or email her and she will do whatever she can to assist. There are volunteers ready and willing to help.

Thank you to everyone for your kindness under these very trying circumstances.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
