Coronavirus and the Annual Canvass

Your electoral services team at Eastleigh Borough Council are required to deliver the annual canvass every year.

Due to the current public health situation we are requesting that if you have been asked to confirm who lives in your household that you do so promptly and where possible avoid sending responses back to us in the post but instead that you use one of the automated household response methods below.

With the team working from home and other areas of the council having limited infrastructure our telephone lines are very busy. To avoid the need for further follow up action please help your Authority by responding immediately and, where possible, online, by phone or SMS.

RESPOND ONLINE, BY TEXT OR BY PHONE

• Online - simply visit www.householdresponse.com/eastleigh (you will need both parts of your security code)

• By phone - 0800 197 9871 (you will need both parts of your security code)

• By text - text ‘NOCHANGE’ with both parts of your security code to 80212 (standard charges apply)
