Coronavirus

The Coronavirus has escalated and is impacting on all of us. We all need to adhere to the Governments restrictions on what we can do.

A special meeting was held on the 24th March to consider what actions we need to take to ensure the Health & Safety of our club members and to reconsider our plans for 2020.

We detail below the key points and to clarify what is happening and how we are managing this change.

1. All matches have been cancelled up until the 29th June and this includes the Opening of Green, Recruitment Day and the Spring Bingo. The Committee will meet again around the 16th June to consider the situation at this time.
2. All Affiliation Fees paid last September to Bowls England and Bowls Devon are going to be refunded to all clubs.
3. As no bowler will be affiliated this year and most competitions have been cancelled for 2020. The only exception to this is the East of Exe, County Trophy, Foxlands and Top Team all these will be reviewed by Bowls Devon at the end of June.
4. It was agreed to ask all members (across the board) to pay £10.00 for this season plus a £1.00 if you have a locker and this also keeps them as members. If members could place the money/or send it to me at my address (23 Belmont Road, Tiverton EX16 6AR) or (Stewart Maddocks 39 Sycamore Road, Tiverton, EX16 6J). Please ensure your name is on the envelope or inside.
