Many congratulations to our colleague Martin Clarke-Squires on his victory in the Vale of Glamorgan County Singles Championship, beating Porthcawl's Les Harris on his home green at Griffin Park. This has been an impressive year for Martin, who also reached the final of the Welsh Singles Championship at Llandrindod in August and the semi-final of the Merthyr West End singles championship. Well done Martin, everyone at the club is delighted for you and your achievements this year, and proud to have you amongst our ranks at Barry Athletic Bowls Club.
