Find out more about this community in:

The parish council will continue to operate as normal until the advice from central government changes.

The recommended source of information for the public is now on the NHS website:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

If you think you have symptoms, please go to the NHS-111 online questionnaire in the first instance which can be found here:

https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19

To help protect yourself and other people in the community;

  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
  • Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available

Consider whether you should stay at home if you have mild symptoms or have been in close contact with other people who are unwell.

  • You should stay at home for 7 days if you have:
    – a high temperature
    – a new, continuous cough
    – recently travelled from a high-risk overseas area.

Should the government change the advice regarding public meetings we will act accordingly and keep you updated
