As you are no doubt aware, the government announced on the 19th January that the measures put in place under Plan B in England on 10th December will be lifted.
This means that with effect from 27th January, 2022, there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering in any setting - including in Community Centres - although the government suggests that you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with other people you do not normally meet.
Please note that HTCC volunteers may opt to wear face coverings when opening up / closing the Community Centre for you. In this case, we request that face coverings be worn by all at the premises when a volunteer is on site.
For the latest Government guidance on keeping yourself and others safe and preventing the spread of Coronavirus, please see https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do.
You can find our updated Special Conditions of Hire during Covid-19, together with links to the latest Government guidance regarding Covid-19, under Tariff & Terms on the Community Centre web site at www.hbtcommunitycentre.org.uk.
We will continue to closely monitor any further changes to Government regulations and guidelines regarding Covid-19 and keep you updated on the impact of these on your use of the Community Centre.
