19 crimes reported during April, (up from 8 recorded in March 2024)
Humbertalking has set our priorities, this month we are to:
1. Reduce Theft
2. ASB – tackle Nuisance motorbikes

Here’s a summary of crimes that have been reported across Mid Holderness last month:
a. Residential Burglary reports: (three investigations)
12/04/2024 Burglary – Seaside Road, ALDBROUGH side gate taken off its hinges entered an unlocked side garage door, nothing taken.
16/04/2024 Burglary Main Road SPROATLEY unknown means of entry a watch and whisky decanter taken.
27/04/2024 Burglary Main Road, WYTON front window forced open to an occupied property, gain entry, attempt to take copper piping and damaged internal kitchen units.


b. Business Burglary reports: (one investigation)
13/04/2024 Burglary Rothesay Court SKIRLAUGH - Offenders entered the premises by front door and eat food items.
Update: 37 year old male and a 38yearold female arrested and charged for burglary


c. Thefts: (eleven investigations)
04/04/2024 Theft of fuel Main Road, BILTON
04/04/2024 Theft Aldbrough Road, WITHERNWICK - Abstraction of electricity
07/04/2024 Theft from drive Highfield Crescent, BILTON - Theft of a tumble dryer
09/04/2024 Theft from garden Garton Road, ALDBROUGH - Theft of scrap metal
13/04/2024 Theft of fuel A165, LONG RISTON
17/04/2024 Theft of fuel  Leven Road, CATWICK
19/04/2024 Theft Church Lane, SKIRLAUGH Theft in a dwelling of mobile phone
21/04/2024 Theft of fuel  A165, LONG RISTON
21/04/2024 Theft of fuel Main Road, BILTON
25/04/2024 Theft of fuel  Main Road, BILTON
26/04/2024 Theft of fuel  Main Road, BILTON

d. Vehicle Crime: (two investigations)
04/04/2024 Theft of vehicle Gemel Road, BURTON PIDSEA  Theft of Black Land Rover Discovery.
15/04/2024 Theft of motorbike Lambwath Villas, SKIRLAUGH Yamaha stolen from front garden, locks cut.


e. Damage: (two investigation)
01/04/2024 Criminal Damage Humbleton Road, LELLEY damage to campervan.
26/04/2024 ARSON Seaside Road, ALDBROUGH fire to an occupied farm house


Other: (26 investigations) 20 domestic related including sexual offences incidents, 3 reports of harassment by neighbours, 3 stalking offences reported in April across the Mid Holderness ward area.
