15 crimes reported during February, (up from 11 recorded in January 2024)

Here’s a summary of crimes that have been reported across Mid Holderness last month:
a. Residential Burglary reports: (four investigations)
07/02/2024 Burglary - Low farm Road, GANSTEAD WEST; Attempted burglary in an outbuilding. 07/02/2024 Burglary Residential - Cawood Drive, SKIRLAUGH; rear patio door damaged to gain entry, Jewellery stolen. 11/02/2024 Burglary residential - Cawood Drive, SKIRLAUGH; damage the handle to rear porch door, no entry gained. 12/02/2024 Burglary residential - Barley Garth, BURTON PIDSEA; attempt to gain entry using instrument causing damage to rear door lock.


b. Business Burglary reports: (none recorded)


c. Thefts: (three investigations)
02/02/2024 Theft - Main Road, BILTON; Making off without payment for fuel. 20/02/2024 Theft - Church Lane, BURSTWICK; Theft of fencing stakes from garden. 25/02/2024 Theft - Church Lane, SKIRLAUGH; Theft of mobile phone


d. Vehicle Crime: (three investigations)
04/02/2024 Theft - Crown Drive, SKIRLAUGH; Whilst victim has been asleep, partner has taken vehicle without consent, stopped by police, failed a drug test, disq driver/no insurance/ car seized. 18/02/2024 Theft - Lambwath Villas, SKIRLAUGH; Theft of motor vehicle later found in Beverley. 24/02/2024 Traffic offences - FITLING


e. Damage: (three investigations)
07/02/2024 Damage - Lime Tree Lane BILTON; Damage to garden fence. 07/02/2024 Criminal Damage to vehicle - Drove Lane, WAWNE; Damage to tractor window. 28/02/2024 Criminal damage - Green Lane BURTON PIDSEA; Damage to farm gate


Other: (two investigations) 10/02/2024 Dog bite - Main Road, SPROATLEY. 11/02/2024 Dangerous Dogs - Meaux Road, WAWNE; victim riding a horse and is chased by 2 dogs. 24 domestic related incidents and Public Order incidents reported in February across the Mid Holderness ward area.
