Battle Town Council has unfortunately received reports over the weekend of inappropriate use of the children’s play equipment at the Recreation Ground resulting in destruction of one item.

The horse springer which is located next to the play castle is intended for small children only, and is clearly signposted to detail this information. Over the weekend CCTV indicates that an individual has misused this equipment and it is now broken, meaning it is unusable for small children.

There is CCTV evidence of this incident that could be reported to the police as criminal damage.

If you are the misguided individual that caused this damage and would like to make a contribution towards its replacement, please contact Battle Town Council enquiries@battletowncouncil.gov.uk or 01424772210.

Lets all work together to look after our beautiful town.
