Warbleton Walking and Cycling Map

Warbleton Parish Council are working on a new walking & cycling routes map in partnership with local community organisations to promote health and well-being in the area.

The funds to enable this will be provided by the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). This follows the recent Parish Council survey which asked Warbleton residents how they think the Parish's CIL money should be best spent on projects for the community.

The top three priorities favoured by the community were:

Firstly - Finger Post Repair Maintenance of notice boards, fingerposts and benches.

Secondly - Create a Warbleton Parish walking & cycling routes map in partnership with local community organisations and local council to promote health and well-being

Thirdly - Install electric car charging points at strategic locations in the Parish to support greener energy use.

We’re now working on each of these favoured priorities.

The Walking Map was the second choice in the community survey on CIL spend. The planning for this is underway led by the CIL committee at Warbleton Parish Council. We would like it to include information on local routes and their flora and fauna. We are looking at the viability of it being available both in print and as a digital version. The plan is to have this ready for early Summer 2022.
