A message from Weston Parish Council:

The Parish Council has received a number of complaints about the increased level of dog foulingaround the village, including along the footpaths across the fields towards Bell Lane.

Out of consideration for everyone, all dog owners are urged to pick up after their dogs and dispose of the waste in any of the bins around the village.  The Council provides four dog waste bins which are emptied weekly at a cost this year of £395 or 10.5% of the total precept which is funded by the Council Tax.

It is illegal not to pick up after your dog and you can be fined up to £1,000.

So please BAG IT, TIE IT, BIN IT and help to make our village a nicer environment for everyone.
