We are continuing to receive reports that there is an increase in the number of dog fouling incidents on tights of way within and around the village - even on the pavement leading to the school, which is most unpleasant.

We need our dog walkers to take responsibility for the animals under their care, so please ensure you clear up behind them. Suffice it to say that at least one large dog is being left at fault by the current lazy owner behaviour. Not cleaning up after your pet is both anti-social and highly irresponsible - totally unacceptable in fact - especially in the area where small children are walking to school.

We have taken advice from the police and anyone caught allowing such behaviour will be prosecuted.

Additional Information

Acton Turville is located in South Gloucestershire, close to the Wiltshire border and the M4 motorway (Junction 18). We have a thriving pub, a delightful 12th century church, a bustling village shop and post office and a highly regarded primary school (serving our village, our neighbours in Badminton and Tormarton and wider afield). We are rightly proud of our village. We hope you will find time to visit us and see why we love living here. A warm welcome is waiting for you.
