Dog Fouling continues to be an issue
Sadly there are still far too many episodes of fouling on rights of way within and around the village.
While we are enjoying the temporarily moved footpath that is much narrower than the original route, it would be hoped that dog walkers would be even more vigilant and socially responsible regarding their dog's deposits.
This does not seem to be the case however, and several dog walkers are FAILING TO PICK UP THEIR DOG's POO when their pets foul the pootpath.
If you cannot walk your dog and pick up after it - particularly on a narrow footpath - you are behaving in an irresponsible and anti-social way.
Identifiable culprits are at risk of a serious fine.
If you are a dog walker PLEASE take responsibility for the animals under your care, and ensure that you clear up behind them.
Please note that collecting your dog's droppings in a bag and then leaving the bag somewhere along the footpath or in a hedge does NOT constitute acceptable behaviour either.
