A number of the team have been visiting Doris Thomas at least once a week for over seven years and were delighted to have been invited to her 100th birthday party on 31 January. Doris lived by herself, being totally blind, for 30 years or more and was just an inspiration to us all. Having passed away recently following a fall and hospitalisation, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
